Accounting Controller Duties:
Responsible For Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations And All Other Journal Entries To Ensure Accuracy And Compliance. Use And Understanding Of Accounting Software MMS Master Merchant Systems An Asset. Familiarity With Commissions.
Preparing Government Documents For Numerous Provincial And Federal Authorities, Includes GST, PST Filling As Required.
Interface With Tax Authorities And External Resources.
Establish And Maintain Appropriate Internal Controls.
Manage Corporate Insurance – General, Liability, Errors & Omissions, Directors & Officers, Etc.
Perform Monthly, Quarterly, And Yearly Analysis Of Financial Statement.
Assist With Budget Preparation.
Prepare Year End Financials For Accountant.
Minimum 5 Years Experience Full Cycle Accounting Functions Including Consolidated Financial Statement Preparation As Well As G/L, A/R, A/P.
Bilingualism An Asset.
Familiarity With Ontario And Quebec Laws And Procedures Is A Strong Asset The Above Describes The Essential Responsibilities And Activities That Are Typical For An Incumbent In This Job.
